John, Bethan & Scout

John and Bethan met at Manchester University at just 19 years old. One hell of a lot of adventures, a couple of decades and a small person later, they call Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge home with their freakishly small black cat Dot, and other fur balls Gomez and Boo.

 They moved to Ironbridge Gorge by accident 14 years ago after seeing what is now their home, in a local estate agents window by chance. Falling in love with a very run down old boys School that had sat empty for a few years, they put an offer in 24 hours later and have been crafting it into their home ever since.

John has restored and rebuilt many things over the years, including countless vintage cars so rebuilding the wagon was a fantastic new project.

Desperate to spend as much time together as a family, the idea of working together setting up a special place in the UNESCO world heritage site Ironbridge Gorge for people to stay and enjoy has been a real passion and family affair.
